Caravans are trailers including home furnishings that do not have their own drive type and are therefore transported by motor vehicle. A caravan offers freedom, as the towing vehicle is available separately at the vacation destination. In addition to aerodynamic folding caravans or caravan types with a raising roof, which only "unfold" at the location, teardrop-shaped models are also available when buying a caravan. Like a used caravan in its classic form, these have fixed and insulated aluminum or plastic walls. Classic caravans range from mini caravans to touring or touring caravans to large or luxury caravans.
